Barbie stars as Merliah, a surfing champion from Malibu. While surfing, Merliah finds out that she is half mermaid and can swim and breathe underwater and also communicate with dolphins. Girls love watching Merliah’s adventures as she tries to save her mother and ultimately receive a necklace that allows her to transform from a human to a mermaid.
